Today I worked on the cover, I decided to use Canva for ease of access as well as having a very intuitive UI as opposed to the very cluttered and seemingly endless options of Photoshop. I also chose one of the default templates as it helped to have some idea of what a proper magazine looks like, even if I replaced almost everything in the template to better fit my vision, from fonts to colors.

I tried my best to keep the non-game cover colors to be as unobtrusive as possible, while picking out shades that appear in the other side's respective color palette. A big theme for the design is definitely contrasting the two versions, as that is the topic of my article. As such, I tried to sneak in little design details like the one aforementioned in order to give the magazine a sense of topical cohesion at the potential cost of more homogeneity in aesthetics.
